Hallowstar's nose bridge wrinkled at the thought of the apprentice who betrayed his clan, Strikepaw. The black apprentice must have leaked out information to Falcon. That idiot. He destroyed my clan. Now everyone is...gone.
The black tom knew that this wasn't over. The pile of dead bodies could never be cleared, and time was of the essence. Hallowstar padded back though the gorse tunnel leading out of LeafClan camp. The leafy forest used to be so comforting, so nice just to walk through, but now Hallowstar thought that this forest could hold a rouge ready to pounce.
His yellow eyes searched the canopies of leaves, his neck fur rising in fear. Lashing his tail, Hallowstar knew that walking yet again took time. Hallowstar bunched his muscles, before bounding in the forest, his huge paws making it easier to run.
He knew that he had to establish a new territory, and find rouges, loners and kittypets to join his clan.

"Bear, what is that smell?"
"I don't know, probably crowfood."
"It smells like rotting meat,"
"Okay..? What am I supposed to do about it, Bramble?"
Bramble sighed as his brother, Bear, kept a stubborn attitude. It won't help our situation. Bramble glanced at his brother. Their mother and father had just died a few moons ago, thanks to a cat called 'Southstar'. What kind of a name is that, anyway? I've only heard of the North Star, but Southstar?
Crash!
Bramble stopped, holding out his tail. Bear smacked into his tail and stared at his brother threateningly. Following that crash was a ear-piercing scream.
Bramble's eye immediately lit up, looking at Bear. Bear had wove around his brother's tail and had begun to pad off.
"Bear, wait!"
The dark golden brown tabby tom looked over at Bramble. "What now?" he hissed.
"You can't tell me that you didn't hear that scream!" Bramble bounded over to Bear, grinning ear to ear.
"I did, but I chose to ignore it," Bear shrugged off Bramble, before stomping off.
Bramble grabbed his brother's tail in his mouth, haling Bear back. "Come on. What if that cat's still alive?" he meowed, his grin growing wider.

Feather growled as the fish disappeared back underneath the water. Of course, Feather hissed as a small flash of silver disappeared as quickly as it came. I can't even catch a simple fish.
The water lapped calmly at her slightly burnt paws, but Feather took no notice. Any reminder of the fire that killed all of her family except her had to be put out of her mind.
Feather's belly growled, but she quickly drank some water, filling up her thirst and quieting her hunger. That'll shut you up for a bit.
"Hello?" Feather pricked her ears, her back fur rising. Someone's voice was coming from behind a bracken bush. Cautiously, Feather lowered her head, walking slowly to the bush.
"Who's there?" she hissed, unsheathing her claws.
"Uh, Bracken?" the voice meowed, puzzled.
Feather relaxed her fur a bit. The cat behind the bush didn't sound to be older than her.
"Can you come out?" she meowed impatiently.
Soon, the bush rustled, and a strikingly handsome golden brown tabby tom stepped out.
Feather suddenly shifted, her flank aching from that unhealed burn. "So, uh, you're....Bracken?" she asked, her tail-tip twitching.
"Yes, if you didn't hear. And you are...?" he asked, his head tilting to the side slightly.
"Feather."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Rush's paws dangled as the hawk carried her over the forest, the trees seeming to be tiny ferns as her elevation became higher, and higher, and higher. It's sharp talons pierced into her soft, black-and-white fur.
She suddenly dropped, falling into a nest.
She blacked out.
"Bramble! Get back here,"
"Bear, I'm going to try and help her."
"Don't! Let's leave her here,"
Rush's amber eyes opened, to see a dark golden brown tabby tom hovering over her aching body.
"What are you doing?" she shrieked, scrambling to her paws and backing away.
Another tom, a dark golden tabby, just rolled his eyes. "We're trying to help you, idiot." he growled, padding forward.
"Er, what?" she asked, backing away still.
"Will you come on!"
(Rp from here!)

"Seriously?!" Bear grumbled, slightly annoyed now. "That hawk could of dropped you into a swamp with hungry alligators in!" BEar snapped. "Be thankful we are here."

Bramble looked over at Bear, Does he ever shut his mouth?! "We saw you fall. Are you okay?" he asked.
~Bramble
"So what are you up to Bracken?" Feather asked, actually grateful for the comfort.
~Feather
"I suppose I'm okay, but I'll be better once he is shut up," Rush growled, flicking her tail to Bear.
ReplyDelete"Uh, probably going to find that 'clan' that some rouges were talking about," Bracken meowed, stretching.
(Oops late reply! :O)
ReplyDeleteBear lashed his tail. "I saved you! Be grateful!" he snarled.
~Bear
Bramble winced, and looked away from his brother.
~Bramble
"Clan?" Feather asked. "I haven't heard rouges talking about a 'clan'!" I have no where else to go, Feather thought sadly. "Do you know where it is?" she asked, her ears perked.
~Feather
"I'[ll be grateful once I'm away from this." Rush snapped back, growling.
ReplyDelete"No, but I have high hopes. We'll find it." Bracken purred.
Bear grabbed Rush's scruff and hauled her onto his back. "Your coming with us!"

Bramble shut his eyes, and padded off after his ordering brother.

"Which way?" Feather asked quietly, smiling.
